Congress Solutions was founded as a trusted partner of Congress Care. With over 35 years of combined experience, our roots are embedded in the world of professional congress organisation.

Throughout the years, we have worked closely together on the planning and delivery of scientific, medical, and professional meetings where knowledge exchange was key. Along the way, we encountered inspiring bid opportunities and requests that did not fully align with the strategic focus of Congress Care. Rather than letting these opportunities pass, we saw the potential to expand thoughtfully and collaboratively.

Congress Solutions was created to embrace those opportunities, while continuing to build on the shared values, expertise, and trust that define our partnership.

We believe that successful congresses are built on cooperation, with our partners, our clients, and our wider network. I graduated from the Hoge Hotelschool Leeuwarden in 2008, specialising in Professional Conference & Event Management, which sparked my passion for organising projects. Over the past 17+ years at Congress Care, I’ve had the privilege of guiding and executing projects from start to finish, growing from a project assistant to director and finally, owner. I value building long-term client relationships, fostering collaborations where understanding often comes with just a few words, and leading teams to deliver exceptional results.

After completing my degree in Business Economics, I started my career in consultancy before moving into financial controller roles in two organisations. For over five years now, I have been part of Congress Care. 
 
What I value most is the combination of finance, people, and continuous improvement. In my role, I oversee the financial side of our projects while also focusing on internal processes, team collaboration, and organisational efficiency. By connecting these elements,

I help create structure, clarity, and control throughout each project and when it all comes together, that is what I enjoy most.
